A dramatic encounter occurred on the roadside of Ranthambore National Park in India, where a mother and daughter tiger engaged in a fierce territorial dispute.
The mother tiger, Arrowhead, a 350-pound force of nature, defended her territory against her daughter, Siddhi.

Just a few yards away, Safari tourists watched in awe as the two tigers clashed, leaping and swiping at each other in a struggle for dominance.
Chandrabhal Singh, a photographer from Pune, India, captured the intense battle. He described the scene unfolding in one of the park’s most picturesque and prime areas.

According to Singh, Siddhi attempted to encroach on her mother’s territory, but Arrowhead fiercely resisted, eventually driving her daughter away.
During the confrontation, there was a brief pause in the fighting before Arrowhead charged at Siddhi again. Siddhi, caught off guard, was unprepared for the renewed attack.
Park rangers noted that Ranthambore’s growing tiger population has increased territorial conflicts, even between close relatives like Arrowhead and Siddhi.

Fortunately, neither tiger sustained serious injuries during the fight. Park authorities are closely monitoring both tigers as a precaution.
Arrowhead is the granddaughter of Machli, the legendary “Queen of Ranthambore,” who was one of India’s most famous tigers.
Machli passed away in 2016 at 19, having been a major attraction for visitors to the park. Arrowhead has since taken on her grandmother’s mantle as a star tigress in Ranthambore.

This intense battle between mother and daughter highlights the tigers’ determination to assert dominance and secure their territories within the reserve.
