While traveling along an empty road today, I encountered a mother dog standing vigilantly by the roadside, watching as cars zoomed past her. Her eyes were filled with worry, desperately seeking help but receiving none.
When I met her, she seemed to be silently pleading for someone to check my vehicle. Curiously, I followed her lead and discovered that her puppies were trapped in a nearby drain, vulnerable and only a few days old.
The looming rain posed a significant threat to their safety, as they could easily become wet and cold, endangering their lives.

With urgency, we embarked on a mission to rescue the tiny pups and reunite them with their anxious mother. It took over an hour, but finally, her family was safe and sheltered.
The three little puppies lay peacefully, looking adorable as they slept. Thankfully, the mother, whom I named Maria, and her three biological puppies were unharmed. Tragically, Maria had suffered the loss of two recently adopted puppies.

Maria is a charming and friendly dog. She is a devoted parent, caring lovingly for her three natural puppies and her two adoptees.
Fast forward 25 days, and the puppies have grown considerably. At two months old, they are now ready for their vaccinations. Aptly named Leonardo, Donatello, and Rafael, these puppies are full of energy.

Extremely charming and playful, the pups enjoy sunbathing and, most of all, eating to their heart’s content.
Special appreciation goes to the rescuer, Danu Colombo MDP, for making this reunion possible.
