Last week, Pawtcake was alerted via WhatsApp about a dog in dire need of assistance. The poor animal was found dragging a long cable around its neck and hiding in an abandoned building, frightened and in distress.
A massive tumor, weighing over 12 pounds, hung from its body.
Brave rescuers managed to coax the dog out of hiding with some food and gently trapped him to bring him to safety.
Recognizing his starvation, they provided nourishment to help calm him before transporting him to a veterinary clinic for urgent care.
At the clinic, veterinarians prepared the dog for surgery the following day. The procedure went smoothly, and the tumor was successfully removed. Throughout the ordeal, the dog remained courageous.
