Jade’s story is one of resilience and hope. Found alone in an uninhabited house surrounded by locked gates and high walls, she was severely malnourished and weak, indicating she had gone without food or water for a significant period.
Unable to lift her head due to extreme weakness, she was rescued in an emergency operation and taken to a veterinarian for immediate care.
Upon examination, Jade was diagnosed with parvovirus and distemper, two serious illnesses. A critical blood transfusion was administered to save her life.
While she still suffered from severe diarrhea and remained very weak, her condition was managed with careful medical attention.
The attending veterinarian described her survival as nothing short of miraculous. Even though her PCR test results showed little improvement, Jade’s determination shone through as she gradually began eating again.
Regaining the strength to eat was a crucial turning point for Jade after enduring so much hardship from hunger, cold, and illness.
Jade emerged as a true fighter, embodying the spirit of a warrior. On the day she was discharged from the vet, she was welcomed into a new home by her caring owner, marking the beginning of a loving and nurturing chapter in her life.
