Apathy is a growing concern and could turn into a significant issue. Many animals suffer from neglect and loneliness, making it a widespread problem.
While starting their day, a team of volunteers from Manejo de Fauna Callejera came across a young animal in the streets of Tasajera.
The creature was alone and so weak that, at first glance, it appeared lifeless. Despite this, the volunteers were not deterred and approached the animal.
The animal, later named Gorgojito, was starving and had become almost invisible to the passersby, none of whom stopped to help.
It was heartbreaking to see such a young life, having only recently come into the world, endure so much pain and neglect.
One of the volunteers expressed their commitment, stating, “We will offer you all the love to transform your life.”
True to their word, they took Gorgojito under their care, noticing that he gradually became more active and affectionate. His kisses conveyed his gratitude and newfound trust.
Thanks to their compassion, Gorgojito’s life took a positive turn. He is now thriving in the loving care of his new family, a testament to how love and care can triumph over neglect.
