Jessica immediately stepped up to care for Stormi, bringing her home to recover in the safety of her bathroom, where she usually nurtures foster pets.
Day by day, Stormi made small but powerful strides. “Three days in, I’ve gotten a tail wag,” Jessica recalled. “That was such a big moment.”
With time, Stormi’s sweet spirit began to shine. She started exploring her new environment, and soon bonded with Elle, Jessica’s playful Rottweiler.
Their friendship bloomed quickly, with tug-of-war games and toy destruction becoming daily joy. “Elle has really brought Stormi confidence,” Jessica said, watching their bond strengthen.
When Stormi was healthy enough, Jessica made it official—she adopted her. The veterinary staff, who had watched Stormi’s transformation unfold, helped throw a celebration in her honor. The happy pup gobbled treats and bounced around with balloons, fully aware the party was for her.
Now thriving, Stormi has grown stronger, more curious, and endlessly loved. “She’s doing everything she wants to do,” Jessica said proudly. From a forgotten basket in the park to a life filled with joy and family, Stormi’s journey is nothing short of incredible.
