It was a rainy afternoon when my friends and I came across what looked like a lifeless puppy lying in the mud by the side of the road.
Soaked, filthy, and barely moving, he seemed beyond help. But as we got closer, we realized he was still breathing. We knew we had to act fast.
With no proper carrier on hand, we carefully placed him in a red plastic bag—our only option at the time—and rushed him to the nearest veterinary clinic.
